The Norwich Community Darkroom meets at Dark Mode three times a week: Wednesday evenings, and all day Monday and Saturday. The community is led by Jeremy Webb, an experienced analogue photographer, and is open to photographers of all levels. If you’re new to darkroom printing, returning after a break, or simply want to work alongside other analogue practitioners, community sessions are the place to start. Contact Jeremy directly to find out more and join.

Induction
All new Dark Mode members must complete an induction before their first hire session. The induction covers safe use of chemistry, enlarger operation, darkroom etiquette, and our terms and conditions, which you’ll sign on the day. Inductions run weekly once a minimum of four attendees have registered. They are led by Jeremy Webb or a trained member of the Matter of Place team.
